Our dogs, Pogo, Clover, and Nemo, are the heart behind this candle line. Each one came from hardship—neglect, abandonment, or cruelty—but found love, safety, and second chances through rescue. Their stories inspired us to create candles that do more than just smell good; they shine a light for animals still waiting to be found.

Every candle in this collection captures a piece of their spirit—Nemo’s joy and freedom, Pogo’s trust and comfort, Clover’s resilience and rebirth—and gives back to the organizations that changed their lives.

A portion of every sale supports KC PAWS, Bailing Out Benji and Angel Hearts Rescue- three nonprofits dedicated to ending animal cruelty, rescuing the forgotten, and helping every dog find their forever home.

Pogo was found alone in a parking lot—a tiny, one-eyed, tilted senior Shih Tzu who didn’t know what love felt like. So we practiced. Every day. We held him close until he finally melted into our arms and realized he was home.

Now Pogo leans in fully, trusting without question, offering hugs only he knows how to give. He’s the sassy alpha of our little pack, comforting everyone with his big personality and bigger heart.

His namesake candle, Pogo, wraps you in that same gentle warmth—like soft fur, cozy blankets, and love that never lets go.

This candle supports Angel Hearts Rescue, a Kansas City based non-profit organization that helps people experiencing homelessness care for their pets—providing vet care, food, and supplies so families can stay together. Every donation keeps more pets healthy, loved, and by their owner’s side.

Clover arrived at KC PAWS in unimaginable condition—intersexed, neglected, and pumped with hormones that gave her cancer. Her frail body was covered in tumors, her nails curled into her paw pads, and her teeth were broken from years of pain. When asked about her condition, her previous owners said only, “What lumps?” She had never been held, comforted, or loved.

But Michelle from KC PAWS saw something in her worth saving. After four months of intensive care, Clover became the most expensive rescue in the shelter’s history—and one of the most loved.

Today, Clover is thriving, surrounded by her pack—Pogo, Nemo, and the humans who see her as the miracle she is. Her namesake candle, Clover, honors her rebirth and resilience with notes of wild clover and soft rain—gentle, pure, and full of hope.

This candle supports KC PAWS and the everyday heroes like Michelle who give their hearts, time, and resources to save animals who can’t save themselves.

Nemo spent his early life as a puppy mill stud—confined to a cage, bred until he couldn’t anymore, and discarded when he was no longer useful. He never had a name, a walk, or a warm bed. The day we rescued him, he stepped onto grass for the very first time. That simple moment—his paws touching the earth—was the start of everything new.

Now, Nemo is discovering what freedom feels like: soft steps, deep sleep, and love that asks for nothing in return. His candle, Fresh Start, captures that feeling in scent—the smell of open fields, sunlit air, and second chances.

This candle supports Bailing Out Benji, an organization dedicated to ending puppy mills and advocating for stronger animal-welfare laws across the country. Every candle helps give dogs like Nemo a real chance at life.
